  • Master Rahman Jamaal McCreadie is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Bok Fu Do under Master James Kane.  A main stage finalist in the 2015 ISKA US Open and member of the 2016 WKA Team USA Team, his competition experience includes full-contact kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, point & continuous sparring; as well as creative and musical weapons and forms.  One of the first to blend live rap performance with martial arts team demo competition,​  "Rahman Jamaal" is a also an actor/musical artist most known for his starring role in the 2003 Sundance Film Festival feature "The Beat" dir. by Brandon Sonnier; his community organizing activities through Hip Hop Congress, or his role as host/MC of the Adrenaline World Games.

  • With a Master’s Degree in Teaching from the USF, Carlos Levexier is an expert on the ancient sport of wrestling. An undefeated San Francisco High School Champion; California State Champion; NCAA National Finalist; and college All-American; Carlos was inducted into the Balboa High School Hall of Fame, San Francisco State University Gator Hall of Fame, and SF PREP HALL OF FAME (2025) after a successful career Assistant Coaching for the SF State Gators; Head Coaching for Marin Catholic High School through its first League Championship;  coaching Archbishop Riordan to its best California State finish for a San Francisco High School; and becoming Athletic Director for Mission High before his own the youth wrestling organization Scholar Wrestling.

  • Adisa "The Bishop" Banjoko is an award-winning writer, speaker and documentary filmmaker, and  BJJ Black Belt. He has lectured on martial arts history and philosophy at Harvard, Stanford and other universities. He founded the online community, the Resilient Men's Group to help men heal mentally, emotionally and physically, as well as the reputable Hip Hop Chess Federation that fused Hip Hop culture , martial arts & chess.  His current organization, 64 Blocks, LLC and podcast "Bishop Chronicles" examines the overlapping practices of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Meditation, Chess.

  • Lonnie "PopTart" Green is a international dance icon and master instructor from The Day Before Hip Hop in Northern California.  Chosen by his pioneering generation of Strutters in San Francisco, CA to preserve the inner-city Black dance cultural art form, he founded The Strutters Room in 1978.  He has been featured in 23 music videos and shared the stages with some of the entertainment's biggest music stars over his 45-year professional career, where he remains active as a competitor and cultural force in the community.  Featured on KQED's "That's My Word", Poptart represents the cross-cultural link between Chinese martial arts and street dance culture as CEO of Tart Productions International, LLC.

  • Sifu Matt is the creator and main instructor for Essence of Evolution: America. He first began studying martial arts in 1993 at the age of 13 with Hapkido and Kajukenbo as a private student of Sensei George Decosta, along with Aikido and Shinkendo under Sensei Jim Alvarez of the Aikido Shinrei dojo, and later trained in Jeet Kune Do and Kali under Sifu Mark Stewart of Boxer Rebellion International.  He was introduced to the EOE methodology in 1999 by a student of Master Su Dongchen.  After studying with him, Sifu Matt became a student of Sifu Marvin Quon, a “kung fu cousin” of Master Su. From 2003-2006 he studied EOE directly with Master Su, along with the Chinese martial arts of Xing Yi Quan, Bagua Zhang, and Tai Chi Quan.
